In high school, Uwihaganye's commitment to positive change grew stronger. At a boarding school, he established a Christian fellowship that provided a space for classmates to gather, share, and strengthen their faith. His dedication transformed the fellowship into a hub of inspiration.
After completing his high school education, an unexpected opportunity arose when a generous extended family member sponsored his undergraduate studies in India. The opportunity to pursue his undergraduate education in India marked a significant turning point. Armed with an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and an unshakable faith, Uwihaganye embarked on this new chapter at Annamalai University.
Arriving in a foreign land, Uwihaganye faced a challenge – there was no established Christian church or fellowship. Undeterred, he gathered a small group of students and began a bible study, nurturing seeds of faith that would later blossom into a thriving congregation. Through his leadership and dedication, what started as a modest group of students transformed into a vibrant community of over a hundred, transcending religious backgrounds.
